Jonas Colmer, VMD, is a dedicated veterinarian and a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2021). At Pets Furst Urgent Care in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Dr. Colmer is a practitioner, specializing in non-life-threatening emergencies and common conditions in dogs and cats, including allergies, skin and ear infections, gastrointestinal issues, urinary tract infections, and orthopedic or neurologic pain. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Bucknell University before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gartland has practiced at several veterinary hospitals in New Jersey, including Voorhees Veterinary Center and Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, where he focused on emergency and critical care, surgery, toxicology, and internal medicine for small animals.
Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his son and pets, and has hobbies such as cooking, traveling, sports, and playing guitar.
Some visits are planned. Others happen because your dog started limping this morning, your cat suddenly stopped eating or something simply doesn’t seem right.
Pets Furst is designed for both.
With extended hours, walk-in availability and an experienced veterinary team, we make it easier to get answers and care without waiting days for an appointment.
Our veterinarians bring extensive experience across urgent care, general medicine and surgery. Whether your pet is sick, injured or needs routine care, our team is here to provide thoughtful, compassionate care and help you understand the best next steps.
Getting answers is an important part of getting your pet the right care. With in-house laboratory testing and digital X-rays, our team can evaluate many illnesses and injuries on-site and quickly determine an appropriate treatment plan.
Pets don’t always get sick during regular business hours. With extended hours from 8am–8pm, seven days a week, Pets Furst makes it easier to get veterinary care in the morning, evening or over the weekend—no appointment needed.
